A little about Whem...

I am about to be 28, and I'm totally OK with that.

All 4 of my grandparents are still alive, I am so blessed.

My favorite store is the Goodwill, followed closely by Hobby Lobby and Home Depot.

My favorite outfit is a dress, leggings, and boots.

My all time favorite song is "Let it be," by the Beatles.

I'm 5'2 and I like to wear heels, but they are dangerous to my health.

I suffer from chronic migraines, my head hurts every.single.day.

I have 2 sisters, they are fabulous.

Even though I'm back in VA I still love the Chicago Blackhawks. I was there when they won the cup!

I love to paint, but I'm not very good at it.

I sleep with a fan, a white noise machine, and a dachshund, sometimes a sleeping pill and still have trouble sleeping.

I like to watch baseball, even minor league games.

I love books.

My favorite colors are orange, turquoise and pink.

I like owls.

I spent 3 weeks on the Gulf Coast helping people after hurricane Katrina.

I'm comfortable tromping around my grandparents farm, hiking in the mountains, or navigating a big city.

I like to cook, but I make a HUGE mess.

I want to go Alaska more than any Caribbean island.

I just left my husband and I have to start over in life, and I'm terrified.

Until later, just keep on and "Let it be..."

We made it!

Well, we made it! After quite an INTERESTING trip (more on that later), Osc, Momma, and myself pulled into my childhood home at about noon yesterday...and I've been asleep since then!

Just about ALL of my old friends have called or left messages since then, and I TOTALLY appreciate it, but I haven't even been able to pick my head up off of the pillow for more than 5 minutes today! We have all the time in the world to catch up, and I CAN'T WAIT!!

Here we are, our brand new life...

Hello there, it's me Emily from Rosenberghfam.blogspot.com
It's a little hard to continue a blog called "Rosenbergh Fam," when you are no longer a  "Fam," and once you serve the guy with divorce papers, you won't be a Rosenbergh anymore either right?

I have a ton of new ideas for this blog, and now that I have lived though all of this,I have watched my hard earned money go to "Sams liquor store," over and over and over. I have been lied to so many times that I wonder if I will ever trust a man again? I have been yelled at, I have seen alcohol change the man I loved into a monster and I have been a victim of the abuse of an alcoholic husband, I feel like I can reach out to those who are wondering...what the HELL do I do?!?

I will continue to do crafty posts, thrift store finds, Wiener Dog Wednesdays (I still have one of those...the BEST one a girl could ask for!!) as well as What I wore, and MORE exciting things.

I thank all of you for being supportive, and I hope that this new blogging journey can be as successful as the last one, but ten fold!!!

Please say your prayers for me as I try and drive my car with an 8 foot UHaul trailer behind it through 6 inches of snow today to get back to the OLD DOMINION. Lord how I have missed Virginia!!!!

Lots of love!
Whem (a childhood nickname...since I'm going to live in my childhood home, I found it appropriate) and Osc the wonder dog!!!

Whats a post without a pic???
Osc the wonder dog, Momma's greatest support!
